LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — An investigation into an early morning fire is underway in Lake County.

On Saturday morning, Lake County Firefighters, Professional Firefighters of Leesburg, Local 2957 and Groveland Professional Firefighters Local 5142 responded to a residential structure fire in the Royal Highlands community in South Leesburg.

When firefighters arrived, the homeowners were safely out of the house and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
