FHP: Troopers asking for public’s help in finding driver in fatal hit-and-run crash

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said they are searching for a suspect that fled the scene of a fatal hit-and-run crash on foot.

According to a press release, 22-year-old Jesus Bravo-Bravo was driving a stolen 2019 Dodge Caravan when he failed to stop and collided with two vehicles.

The crash happened at State Road 400 near Milepost 53, troopers said.

Investigators said Bravo-Bravo ran from the scene.

Troopers said the vehicle was stolen in Auburndale.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bravo-Bravo is asked to call Florida Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-423-8477 or **TIPS.
