FHP: One killed in early morning crash along I-4 in Seminole County (WFTV)

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash along Interstate 4 in Seminole County.

According to FHP, a car was traveling eastbound on I-4 near state Route 417 when it crashed into the rear of a semi just after 6 a.m.

Troopers said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The eastbound lanes of I-4 from Lake Mary Boulevard to SR-46A were closed while troopers investigated the crash.

FHP says the crash is still under investigation.
