ORLANDO, Fla. — One man is dead and two were injured after their car crashed into a power pole in Pine Hills early Saturday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the corner of Apopka Vineland Road and Balboa Drive, troopers said.
Brothers Ryan, Ronald and Ricky Sankar were traveling south on Apopka Vineland Road when, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole, splitting the car in half, troopers said.
The crash killed Ronald, 28 of Orlando, and critically injured Ricky, 20 of Orlando, who was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Ryan, 26 of Ocoee, was taken ORMC to be treated for minor injuries.
Ronald was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the crash report.

Troopers say the crash is still under investigation at this time.
