FHP investigating deadly motorcycle crash in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened Friday around 8 p.m. in Brevard County.

According to troopers, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on interstate 95 and was exiting at US-192.

A sedan was stopped on the exit ramp, troopers said.

As the motorcycle was exiting, the drive locked up the brakes causing the motorcycle to turn on its side.

The motorcycle slid in the back of the car and the driver and passenger on the motorcycle were ejected.

The male driver was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The female passenger suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the sedan was not injured in the crash.

This crash remains under investigation.
