MARION COUNTY, Fla. — One person is dead and several children have been transported to the hospital after a crash involving multiple cars and a small bus Tuesday in Marion County, Florida Highway Patrol said.

It happened late Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of South Highway 441 and Southeast Sunset Harbor Road, the sheriff’s office said.
The intersection is completely blocked off and motorists are being asked to use an alternate route.
