Experts say tests that are not FDA approved may not have been stored properly, which means they may not be accurate.

The FDA released a statement expressing concern that “deceptive and misleading” tests could cause people to delay or stop COVID-19 treatment they may need.

When searching for a test, officials say to look for the FDA approval on the front of the package.
