DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The FBI believes only one juvenile is responsible for bomb threats against more than 50 historically Black colleges and universities.

Earlier this year, many HBCUs were targeted, including Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach.

The threats involved racial slurs, profanities and alluded to a bomb.

FBI officials said the juvenile was prosecuted as a minor for an unrelated threat, but gave no information on those charges.
