Investigators said Cameron Bouie was the son of the shooting suspect, 28-year-old Lacorvis Daley.

Daley also allegedly shot his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter and her mother to death before he too was killed during a shootout with Orlando police.

It all happened at a home on Grand Street in Parramore.

Bouie’s great-aunt told Channel 9 the family is still struggling. They’re trying to have the funeral on April 29 and get together the money to make it happen – all while grieving the loss of the little boy they say lit up a room.

“Everyone who met him, you could feel the love from him,” his great aunt Sharon Carter said. “When it finally went to the scene where it happened, they begin to tell me he’s not here, he’s at the coroner. I’m like ‘No, this can’t be true.’”

Orlando police said they found Bouie around 2 a.m., along with 69-year-old Carol Fulmore and 13-year-old Damionna Reed.

Daley was Bouie’s father, Fulmore was his girlfriend’s mother and Reed was his girlfriend’s daughter.

Daley died that night after officers said he shot at them, and they fired back.

“I can’t say I did know him,” Carter said. “Only time I saw him was in January when he was taking his son and my nephew to the fair.”

Bouie lived in Orlando with Daley, while his mother lived in South Florida.

Carter said the two worked hard to make sure he had everything he needed.

“They had a great communication concerning Cameron,” Carter said. “He wanted to raise his son. He loved his son. He took care of him.”
