ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police officers, firefighters, and witnesses helped save a family from a car that was overturned in water Thursday night.
Officers responded to the area of Lee Vista Blvd. and Vista East Pkwy. just before 7:30 p.m. after a witness reported seeing the car drive over an embankment and into a body of water.

Police say the witness checked and was able to see the car was upside down in the water.
Arriving officers went into the water with the witness and pulled a mother and one child to safety, according to police.
Soon after, a dive team from the Orlando Fire Department arrived and pulled two more people to safety- a father and a second, younger child.

Police say the father was trapped in the car and the smaller child was strapped into a car seat.
All four were taken to the hospital to be treated and are expected to survive. Police have not said what may have caused the crash.
