ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A judge on Thursday ordered that a 23-year-old former Walmart employee accused of fatally stabbing his former boss remain jailed.
Caswayne Williams, of Winter Park, faced a judge on a first-degree murder charge, but he wasn't granted bond.
Williams was arrested Wednesday a mile from a Walmart on Lee Road after investigators said he killed Davon Brown, 25, shortly before 9 a.m. outside the store's gas station.

Deputies said there was a struggle between the two that spilled out into the store’s parking lot.
“There has to have been some connection as to the place of employment,” Orange County Deputy Rose Silva said. “Investigators are looking into that right now.”
A store employee who knows both men told Channel 9 that the news of Brown’s death was surprising, because Williams is a “talkative and outgoing” person.

Sabrina Jones, Brown’s aunt, told Channel 9 that the men had an argument last week, but she didn’t specify what started it.
Investigators said they’re still investigating the motive for the killing.
“The entire Walmart family is saddened by this tragic loss,” a company spokesman said in a statement. “This was a senseless crime. Right now, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our associate.”
