“This year’s Pride Prom theme, Plant EVO, was chosen in tribute to all of us, who didn’t get a chance to celebrate our high school prom as our authentic selves. We deserve a do-over where we can be whom we want to be, bring whom we want to bring, and freely wear what we want to wear,” said Tatiana Quiroga, Executive Director of Come Out With Pride. ‘’Safer spaces like these are critical and essential to the health of our community.”

The event is geared toward the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who identify as trans and non-binary, and allies. The prom will be an accepting space where each of us can be our authentic selves and bring our date - or dates - we didn’t feel welcome to bring to high school prom.
