EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival blooms this week Beginning March 1, guests can enjoy a springtime event filled with enchanting topiaries, brilliant gardens, fresh flavors and lively entertainment at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — It’s time to grab your buds and head to EPCOT for one of Walt Disney World’s most popular festivals.

EPCOT’S International Flower and Garden Festival officially blooms on Wednesday, bringing back its iconic and innovative topiaries, fresh flavors and concerts for the whole family.

New topiaries this year include Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela and Luisa from “Encanto,” who will greet guests in the main entrance of EPCOT.

Also new this year is a topiary based on Princess Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog.” Famous “Beauty and the Beast” duo Lumiere and Cogsworth will also return in topiary form, but with new elements including lit candles for Lumiere and a working clock for Cogsworth.

More than 200,000 bedding plants are added to EPCOT for the festival, Disney said.

Throughout the festival’s 15 outdoor kitchens throughout the park, there will be more than 50 new food and drink items. See a full list of menus here.

The festival’s concert series also returns and features new acts such as Blue Oyster Cult and Switchfoot and returning favorites such as Smash Mouth and Simple Plan. Click here to see the full concert lineup.

The festival runs through July 5.
