Engage in sensory-sensitive activities at Seminole County Fair on Sunday

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A local show will hold an inclusive experience for those with special needs to enjoy the Seminole County Fair.

Fair organizers from Strates Show, Inc. partnered with the county’s Special Needs Advocacy Program for the fair’s first sensory-sensitive experience.

Guests interested in this experience can attend the fair on Sunday between 1 pm and 3 pm. The lights and sounds will be turned off.

These hours will make it more comfortable for those with autism or other sensory processing disorders sensitive to lights and sounds.

It will also be at the beginning of the fair so that crowds will be low.

Admission and parking for the fair will be free.

This weekend marks the fair’s final weekend at the Seminole Towne Center Mall, complete with attractions, games, prizes and food.
