On Tuesday, police announced their conclusion that the driver who struck the girl was not driving recklessly.
They also said speed was not a factor in the crash.
POPD cited Pamela Schulz, 70, of New Smyrna Beach, for failing to exercise due care toward a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
