OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County Animal Services is looking for a dog that ran off after attacking a woman and her two smaller dogs.

Alexandra Muresan had to be hospitalized after the attack, and said her two dogs, Fendi and Sneaky, were nearly killed.

She said she was outside at about 5:30 a.m. Monday walking Fendi and Sneaky on Castillo Place and Andes Way when another dog walking by turned vicious.

“I was trying to pry my dog out of his mouth and meanwhile, grab the other dog. I got the other dog loose, tried to grab the dogs up so we could run, and he (the bigger dog) bit my arm,” Muresan said.

Muresan has teeth marks on her arm from when her hands got caught between the attack dog’s jaws and her pets.

“I managed to get both my dogs loose and I was turning around to run. He bit me on my back,” she said.

She said after the attack, her dogs ran straight home while she tried to hold onto the attack dog, but it got out of its collar and ran toward its owners’ home.

County workers said the dog is still on the loose.

Animal Services officials said the attack dog will have to be quarantined once it’s found.

The owners were cited for having an aggressive animal.
