Diverging diamond: What you need to know about the new interchange in Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — If you’re driving through Osceola County, you need to look out for its brand-new interchange.

It is supposed to cut down on crashes at ChampionsGate by putting drivers on the left side of the road.

You really have to pay attention, or you could put yourself in a dangerous situation.

On Sunday, we watched eight cars go the wrong way.

The diverging diamond is located on County Road 532 near Interstate 4.

The layout is supposed to cut down congestion and crashes.

The Florida Department of Transportation said that 68,000 people pass through the intersection daily.

The agency is asking everyone to be patient as people get used to the changes.
