PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. — Disney’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, will embark on its christening cruise on Wednesday.

Disney Cruise Line christened its newest ship at Port Canaveral on Wednesday.
The Disney Wish has been docked for about a week now.
It’s been 10 years since Disney last christened a ship.
The ceremony was live-streamed for the world to see.

Disney Wish is the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet and offers new experiences you won’t find on other ships.
It also boasts Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea, AquaMouse. A waterslide adventure like no other.
Disney Wish offers new attractions you won’t find anywhere else.
“The moment kids walk in they slide all the way down into the kids from one deck to the next. There they will find Princess Fairytale Hall and Marvel Superhero Academy,” said Jennifer Haile-Tinn, director of marketing.

On Wednesday, it made its first trip back out to sea for a 3-day preview trip.
Two prior trips were planned but canceled.
After Wednesday’s preview sail, the Disney Wish’s maiden voyage is scheduled for July 14, which is already sold out.
