ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Disney officials have announced the gift shop that will be opening adjacent to the upcoming roller coaster Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, set to debut soon at EPCOT.

The merchandise location will be called Treasures of Xandar, named after the fictional planet seen in the blockbuster Marvel movies, and will feature merchandise that “pays tribute to Xandar and items acquired throughout the galaxy and, of course, some items celebrate The Heroes of Xandar, the Guardians of the Galaxy,” Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley said on Instagram.
The store will be operated by “The Broker,” a proud Xandarian who has brought part of his famous store to EPCOT, Riddley said.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is set to debut sometime this summer at EPCOT. The family-friendly roller coaster will take guests into the world of the irreverent blockbusters, who will spot their favorite characters along the way. The roller coaster rotates 360 degrees as it goes along the track, allowing riders to focus on different aspects of the action.
A more exact date hasn’t been announced yet. However, this week, the attraction began appearing on the EPCOT park map in the Walt Disney World app, fueling speculation that the ride’s opening is around the corner.
