Disney Hollywood Studios employee arrested for taking nearly 500 ‘upskirt’ videos of guests

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Disney Hollywood Studios employee was arrested and charged with video voyeurism after allegedly taking “upskirt” videos of multiple female guests in the park.

Jorge Diaz Vega, 26, was caught by park security on March 31, 2023, after a witness reported seeing him recording a female guest inappropriately.

According to the police report, during an interview with deputies, Diaz confessed to taking videos up the skirts of unknown females in Disney World theme parks for approximately six years.

Diaz-Vega estimated he had over 500 videos on his phone and admitted to taking videos of multiple females on March 31, 2023, while he was working at the Dok-Ondar’s retail store in Hollywood Studios.

Diaz-Vega stated to deputies that he takes these videos because they are hard to find online and they bring him sexual gratification.

During the interview, Diaz willingly showed the detectives multiple examples of the videos he spoke about in the interview via his phone in the image gallery. The videos were of multiple females who all appeared to not know they were being video recorded.

Diaz-Vega also told deputies that he is diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder but knows right from wrong and takes no medications.

Diaz-Vega has been charged with video voyeurism.

WFTV reached out to Disney on Saturday and a spokesperson said the individual does not work for the company.
