BAY LAKE, Fla. — If you’re heading to Walt Disney World, there is a new system you’ll need to know about. The resort will start using Disney Genie on Tuesday.
The company said it can help you plan your day at the parks through its mobile app, including a personalized itinerary creator that helps map out an entire day inspired by the things guests love most.

Disney Genie works similar to a navigation app on your phone, Disney said. The service will update your itinerary as the day changes.
The app will evaluate thousands of possible itineraries in seconds and will prioritize ways to reduce time in lines, pace your day with experiences you’ll enjoy and build around existing plans like dining reservations and Park Hopper preferences, Disney said in a blog post.
