The Disney Treasure will be the sixth ship in the company’s fleet.

Artist renderings show it will feature a grand hall with African and Asian influences as well as several new dining and entertainment offerings.

The ship is currently still being built in Germany, but it will embark on its maiden voyage to the Caribbean from Port Canaveral in December 2024.

Bookings for Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club members open next week, and bookings will open to the general public Sept. 20.

“The story of the Disney Treasure is all about adventure,” said Kristen Zeigler, the principal set decorator for Walt Disney Imagineering, “The adventure starts when you enter the grand hall. We take inspiration from places like Africa, Asia as well as fantastical lands like Agrabah from the Disney film ‘Aladdin’ to really transport guests into their own adventure as soon as they board.”

Zeigler said the ship will offer new venues, like Plaza de Coco, a first-of-its-kind theatrical dining experience inspired by the Disney-Pixar film “Coco.”
