Consider:
- Rollins College launched an $80 million, 300-bed dorm project in August.
- In the Quadrangle near UCF, Orlando-based Trammell Webb Partners Inc. is seeking to convert entitlements for hotel rooms and office uses to entitlements for 475 student housing beds.

- A 2,400-bed project for Full Sail University submitted plans to Orange County in October.
- A defunct Golden Corral on Colonial Drive sold for $8.4 million for a project called “50 South Student Housing.”
