Paola Miranda-Rosa’s family said video and pictures, taken by hikers, show her wading in the water at the park on Dec. 18.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office search team returned to Wekiva Springs State Park where the missing woman’s car was found. This time with new technology — a Zistos portable underwater video camera system.

“We don’t usually do these things, but due to the circumstances I felt it was the right thing to do,” Sheriff Marcos Lopez said.

Lopez’s plan is to search the area shown in the video shot by hikers. Investigators said Miranda-Rosa’s family confirmed she is the person seen wading in the water.

“She could’ve walked out of the water and went somewhere else, but we didn’t have this type of equipment and we’re going to utilize it today,” Lopez said. “What we’re going to do is take the pontoon boat out there and use the camera to scour the bottom and use the lighting system.”
