Deputies identify man found shot to death in crashed car at Orlando apartments

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help solving a murder.

Deputies responded to the Caden at Lakeside Apartments just before 1 p.m. Sunday for reports of a shooting.

They arrived to find a black Nissan Altima that had crashed into a pickup truck.

In the Nissan, they found 39-year-old Wingly St. Vil with obvious “traumatic” injuries. He died at the scene.

Deputies later confirmed that St. Vil had been shot to death.

Now, they’re asking anyone with “even the smallest detail” that may help with their investigation into what happened to St. Vil to call Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

Crimeline tips can be submitted anonymously and could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
