Two people were shot Sunday afternoon in a Deltona home, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting stemmed from an argument between two brothers in the garage of a home on Vicksburg Street east of North Normandy Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m., said Gary Davidson, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
A man who was shot in the arm and the leg was airlifted to Sanford’s Central Florida Regional Hospital by a Sheriff’s Office helicopter, Davidson said.
The other man, whose leg was injured by a ricochet, was brought to the same hospital by ambulance, deputies said.
Both men are expected to survive.
Deputies detained the shooter for questioning, Davidson said.
Officials said they don’t know what sparked the argument.
The incident remains under investigation, and deputies continue to interview witnesses.
Neither man was publicly identified.
