Deltona woman worried growing hole on property could lead to more flooding

DELTONA, Fla. — A homeowner in Deltona is concerned about how much property she’s lost due to flooding.

A hole in her yard has grown in the past two weeks, and now it’s covered with water.

When the homeowner, Tracy Barbour, went to the city for help, she was told she had to wait for the water to go away. But so far, it hasn’t moved.

The front yard isn’t the only flooded area. Her entire backyard has washed away and she’s worried her home will be next.
