SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A DeBary man has been arrested after he attempted to coax a 17-year-old girl into prostitution, according to Seminole County Sheriff's Office investigators Wednesday.
Investigators said Kevin Taylor, 21, was arrested and charged with human trafficking involving a minor.
According to investigators, the girl alleged that Taylor communicated with her using Facebook Messenger in an attempt to recruit her into commercial sexual activity.
The girl told deputies that she would communicate with Taylor through Facebook and texting while being watched by a sheriff's investigator, sheriff's officials said.

Investigators said that in a text Taylor told the girl he is a pimp and wanted her to work for him.
According to investigators, Taylor told the girl she would meet dates and have sex for money.
Investigators said Taylor told the girl that she would have to give him all of the money she made, but he would give her what she needs from that money.
The girl agreed to meet Taylor in Sanford Tuesday. When Taylor arrived at the meeting site and began walking toward an undercover deputy, he was taken into custody, according to deputies.
"So we worked with the victim, we set up a location, but when he arrived at the location he met our investigators rather than the victim," Kim Cannaday of the Seminole County Sheriff's Department said.
Investigators said Taylor told them he was only meeting the girl to have sex with her.
Wednesday afternoon Taylor entered a not guilty plea, but the judge ordered him to be held without bond.
Taylor's pregnant fiancée, who did not want to be identified, told Channel 9 that Taylor didn't initiate contact with the girl.
"He needs to be there for his daughter, and with him having a court date Aug. 15, it doesn't look like he is going to be here for her," she said.
