ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A deadly crash Thursday morning had a section of State Road 429 shut down in Orange County.

The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. on SR-429 near West Ponkan Road.
The crash had all southbound lanes of SR-429 shut down in the area for several hours.

Troopers said this was a wrong-way crash that killed a 44-year-old Ocoee woman and injured a 29-year-old Mount Dora woman.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
