Date set for 2023 Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Organizers are sharing new details about this year’s Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival.

The street festival will take place on Saturday, April 22.

The event brings thousands of people to downtown Orlando to celebrate the culture of Puerto Rican and its impact on Central Florida.

This year, they will be celebrating the city of Loiza, which is known for its bomba music, folk art, and distinct cultural expressions.

“It’s an activity that allows us to be able to tell people who are not Puerto Rican what our culture, what our heritage, what we’re all about as your neighbors,” said Ralph Morales.
