The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at a Nursery Supply Inc. near Poinciana Boulevard and U.S. 17.
The biggest challenge for firefighters was the plastic pots inside burning.
The flames flew up and over multiple businesses with a thick black cloud of smoke for nearly five hours until crews started to push back the flames.
A hazmat team was on scene all morning checking the air quality.
Officials said no one was hurt and no evacuations were ordered.
