Crews battle wildfire at Volusia County’s Tiger Bay State Forest; expect smoky conditions on I-4

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Forest Service said Friday afternoon that it is battling a wildfire in the Tiger Bay State Forest in Volusia County.

The agency said no homes are in danger, and there are no road closures at this time.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the fire is causing heavy smoke to billow onto Interstate 4 near mile marker 124.
