Crewed, uncrewed missions to lead busy year on Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Between NASA and privately funded missions, Florida’s Space Coast could see five crewed missions this year.

The first of those, Crew-6, is scheduled to launch as soon as Feb. 26. Crew-7 will launch by the end of the year.

Most of those missions will blast off from Launch Complex 39-A.

SpaceX will by flying the majority of those crewed missions with both NASA and private astronauts, but ULA will launch the long-awaited crew flight test for Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft.

Including crewed and non-crewed missions, the Space Coast could potentially see 94 launches in 2023.
