Florida’s Turnpike reopens after crash in Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Florida’s Turnpike reopened after a crash shut down a section of the road in Osceola County early Thursday.

The crash happened in the Turnpike’s northbound lanes at mile marker 248 near Osceola Parkway, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 5 a.m.

WFTV spotted at least two ambulances at the scene, but it’s unknown if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Channel 9′s Alexa Lorenzo said northbound traffic was backed up for several miles in the area of the incident.

The road was reopened just before 7 a.m.
