3 crashes close lanes of International Speedway Boulevard

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Three crashes shut down westbound International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 192) near Daytona Beach, Monday afternoon.

The crashes had the lanes closed at Old DeLand Road, according to Florida Highway Patrol Troopers.

Troopers diverted westbound traffic onto Old DeLand Road.

Skywitness 9 HD flew over the scene of the crash where a vehicle was upside down in a ditch.

Troopers said a motorcyclist somehow crashed into that car and is in the hospital with serious injuries.

The third crash, which involved three cars, was unrelated to the other two crashes but happened nearby on Tomoka Farms Road, causing more delays.
