Central Florida should see weather changes for Easter Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. — Meteorologist George Waldenberger said Saturday was our last day of the 90s in Orlando, at least for a few days.

A cool front passes overnight and will take the next four days to the 70s.

But there will be some showers to plan around through Easter and beyond.

First, this evening, a few isolated lightning storms with quick downpours will be possible through the evening. Only some people will get the rain, though.

Late overnight through Easter morning, any rain looks isolated, with many areas dry. The highest rain chance will be near the coast.

For Easter afternoon, a few scattered showers abound, with the highest chances near the beaches, but again, not everyone sees rain in this timeframe.

Monday will return to the work week with a higher chance of more widespread rain.
