Cold front brings chilly air to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s a much cooler morning across Central Florida, and the chilly air will remain in place for much of Thursday.

Expect plenty of sunshine, but not much warmth as strong northerly winds will continue to transport cool air.

Highs on Thursday will only be in the mid-60s.

Later tonight, winds will begin to shift to the east. This will result in a warmer overnight, with lows in the low 50s.

A warming trend starts on Friday, with a few more clouds.

A stray coastal shower will be possible Friday with highs in the low 70s.

The warmup continues into the weekend as easterly winds continue.

A few coastal showers will be possible both Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

The start of next week will feature a blend of sun and clouds and warm temps.

Highs will remain in the upper 70s with some coastal showers each day.
