Clerk to offer special Valentine’s Day wedding ceremony at Orange County Courthouse

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Clerk of Courts is offering couples the opportunity to say “I do” with a memorable wedding ceremony on Valentine’s Day.

The ceremony is available to the first 30 couples who register and will be held on the courthouse steps on Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.

For a $70 fee, couples will receive a commemorative certificate, wedding photos, and a special gift.

Orange County Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell said she wanted to do something for couples on their special day.

“I want to provide a special day for couples getting married at the courthouse, and this is a nice way to do this,” said Russell.

Russell reminds couples to obtain a marriage license before registering for the event.

Russell said separate wedding ceremonies are available in the courthouse ceremony room and at any branch location on Valentine’s Day or other regular business days.
