City of Orlando to hold memorial service for homeless people who died this year

ORLANDO, Fla. — The City of Orlando will gather Wednesday morning to remember those in our community who have died after suffering homelessness.

The “Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service” recognizes the challenges that homeless people face.

Community and faith leaders will say prayers and read the names of those who have died this year.

The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Heritage Square Park in downtown Orlando.
