Central Florida to see higher rain, storm chances Wednesday

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s shaping up to be an active Wednesday across Central Florida, with elevated rain and storm chances.

The best chance for activity once again will be along the coast, but inland areas will also see scattered showers and storms during the evening hours.

Highs for Wednesday will be back in the low 80s.

The showers will finally move off into the Atlantic later Wednesday night, with some fog possible towards daybreak.

Thursday morning lows will be in the mid-60s.

Drier weather does return for Thursday, but a few showers will be possible as a cold front moves through the area.

Highs for Thursday will be in the upper 70s.

Cooler conditions move in for Friday, with mostly sunny skies expected.

Temps to close out the week will be in the mid-70s.

A second cold front marches in for Saturday, bringing even cooler conditions into the region.

Highs for Saturday will only be in the low 60s, with upper 60s for Sunday.

Warmer weather does return as we move toward Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, along with the chance for rain.
