ORLANDO, Fla. — At the beginning of every year, we celebrate the first babies born into the new year, but this year, it comes with another label.
Winnie Palmer (ORL): Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies proudly welcomed its first baby of the New Year at 1:20am.
Baby boy Derek weighed 7lbs—9 oz. and measured 19.25″ long. Derek is the son of Davina Nguyen and Erik Kim.
In honor of this special occasion, the Central Florida Diaper Bank is donating a year’s worth of diapers (roughly 3,600) to the family.
