ORANGE COUNTY

Winnie Palmer (ORL): Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies proudly welcomed its first baby of the New Year at 1:20am.

Baby boy Derek weighed 7lbs—9 oz. and measured 19.25″ long. Derek is the son of Davina Nguyen and Erik Kim.

In honor of this special occasion, the Central Florida Diaper Bank is donating a year’s worth of diapers (roughly 3,600) to the family.

LAKE COUNTY

AdventHealth (TAV): AdventHealth has delivered Central Florida’s first baby of the new year. We are happy to welcome baby boy Travis Michael Morgan, Central Florida’s first baby of 2025.

Health First’s Viera Hospital: At 12:24 a.m., while most of us were still in the early stages of celebrating the new year, baby Betty-Rose Freeman took her first breath at Viera Hospital - becoming Brevard County’s first baby of 2025.
