Central Florida braces for coldest night of the season, with temps dropping into the 30s

An additional push of cold air is moving into Central Florida tonight, bringing the season’s most frigid temperatures.

Orlando could dip to 38 degrees, the lowest since last January.

A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect, with wind chills expected to drop into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.

A Freeze Warning remains in place for northern areas, where frost is likely.

Residents are urged to bring pets indoors and cover sensitive tropical plants, especially in freeze-prone zones.

Prepare for widespread 30s overnight, with frigid conditions persisting into the early morning.
