The 1,337-room hotel, at 8101 World Center Drive near Walt Disney World, filed a pre-application with Orange County in early August for a project called “Caribe Royale Service Building and Convention Center Expansion.”
Documents provided to the county detail adding up to 35,000 square feet — including meeting space, pre-function space and more — to the hotel, bringing the total space to more than 250,000 square feet.
