Canadian ‘low-cost’ airline rolls into Central Florida

SANFORD, Fla. — If you’re looking for another option to fly between Canada and Central Florida, you’re in luck.

Flair Airlines has landed at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB).

The official welcome recently came with a water salute, courtesy of the Orlando Sanford Airport Fire Department.

Passengers arriving to enjoy Central Florida’s sunshine and attractions were given special gifts to help kick off their local adventures.

Airport mascot SFBee and his beekeeper even made a special appearance for the kids.

Airport officials said Flair’s routes from Sanford will service Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Ottawa and Kitchener/Waterloo.

Flair Airlines bills itself as “Canada’s only independent ultra-low-cost carrier” that aims to make air travel “more accessible, more affordable, more exciting - to everyone.”
