Brush fire causes closure of major Daytona Beach road

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A brush fire caused the closure of a major Daytona Beach road Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters said the blaze is burning near Clyde Morris Boulevard and Big Tree Road.

The fire has prompted officials to close Clyde Morris Boulevard.

Officials said the fire is now contained and no homes are endangered.
