Brightline Basecamp: An inside look at Brightline’s $100M vehicle maintenance facility in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Channel 9 is sharing an inside look at the new, $100 million Brightline Basecamp set to open in Orlando.

Brightline officials are sharing more details on the vehicle maintenance facility on Boggy Creek Road, just south of Orlando International Airport.

The facility will be used to service up to eight of Brightline’s trains at the same time.

Brightline will also be hiring nearly 200 workers from Central Florida to maintain the trains.

Passenger service is expected to begin as soon as June.
