ORLANDO, Fla. — A fourth-grade class from Brevard County is planning a special activity for Thursday.

They are set to take a field trip to Brightline’s new train station at Orlando International Airport.
Channel 9 was given an inside look at the new locations last week.

The class from Pinecrest Charter Elementary School earned the visit after one student wrote a letter to the governor about wanting a station in Brevard County.
The students will be allowed to tour the Orlando airport stop and its maintenance facility before it begins service later this year.
Channel 9 will share their experience on Eyewitness News at Noon.
