MIMS, Fla. — Deputies in Brevard County are investigating after a woman was found dead inside of a home after a shooting early Friday morning.
First responders were called to a home on Blounts Ridge Road in Mims after receiving a call that a woman had been shot.

When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead inside of the home.
Deputies said everyone involved in the incident is accounted for and there is no threat to the community.

Homicide detectives and crime scene units are currently interviewing potential witnesses and collecting evidence.
The name of the victim has not been released and no arrests have been made, deputies said.
