KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — Four astronauts are now safely back on Earth.

NASA and SpaceX’s Crew-3 mission splashed down off Florida’s gulf coast early Friday.
Crew-3 returned in the SpaceX’s Dragon Endurance spacecraft, nearly 24 hours after undocking from the International Space Station.

The Crew-3 members were NASA astronauts Kayla Barron, Raja Chari, and Tom Marshburn, as well as European Space Agency astronaut Matthias Maurer.

NASA provided live coverage of Crew-3′s return to Earth, splashdown and recovery.

Shortly after splashdown, the spacecraft was secured by teams in two fast boats and aboard a recovery ship.

For the Crew-3 astronauts, this was their first time back on Earth in nearly six months.
