WATCH: SpaceX launches Starlink satellites from Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched its 24th Starlink mission Wednesday afternoon.

The launch was set for 12:34 p.m. at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

A Falcon 9 rocket sent 60 satellites into space to help create a global broadband internet network.

The goal of the mission is to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe. The network is currently available in parts of North America. It will be available globally in late 2021 or 2022.
